John Mallinson

Association President, City & County Councillor

As well as being Election Agent for the Carlisle Association, John is a City & County Councillor. He is a City Councillor for Longtown & Rockcliffe, and leader of the Conservative group on Carlisle City Council, and is the County Councillor for Houghton & Irthington. John says: "I first joined the Conservative Party in the 1970's and joined Carlisle Conservative Association on moving to Carlisle in 1992. I have served two terms as Chairman of the Association and have recently been Association President. For a number of years I have acted as the Election agent for local elections and the last the three successful general Election Campaigns.

"I came from an agricultural background before becoming a newsagent and more recently worked with Adults with learning difficulties."

Caroline Henley

Association President

Caroline is the President of the Carlisle Conservative Association. As Chairman of the Association from 2012-17 Caroline was heavily involved in the re-election of John Stevenson.

Rob Currie

Deputy Chairman Political

Rob is the Deputy Chairman of Carlisle Conservatives, responsible for political activities within the Carlisle Association. Rob has acted as Campaign Manager for John Stevenson MP in the 2015 election campaign and has worked hard in making the Belle Vue ward one of the closest fought Council seats in Cumbria.

Ann McKerrell

City Councillor for Dalston Ward

Ann is a Conservative Councillor for the Dalston Ward to the South of the City. She can be contacted on 01228 710963. Ann is also one of the two Deputy Chairman of the Carlisle Association.

Ann says: "I have lived in Dalston for 53 years. It has been my Family home since 1940 when my Grandfather was relocated here as the Village Policeman during the war.

"My Husband and I own and run Caldew Coaches Ltd which we established in 1992, specialising in transport for people with special needs. Our two sons have joined us since they left school.

"I am proud to be City Councillor for Dalston Ward and hope to serve the area to the best of my best ability as long as the people I represent want me too."
